- Days, full-time, 40 hours/week, 4x10-hour shifts (730 AM - 6 PM), Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) suite
- Prepare and operate equipment for various cardiac cases, including right and left heart catheterizations, PCI, Complex PCI, CTO, ASA, PFO/ASD, Mitral Clip, Watchman, PTMV, TAVR, and peripheral vascular procedures
- Support patient care during procedures, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols
- Maintain radiation safety standards, including proper badge usage and shielding practices
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a Level I Trauma Center and teaching environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or EP lab setting
- Current national certifications: SCRQSA, ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association accepted)
- Valid radiation badge
- Flexibility to work on-call (1-2 nights/week, every sixth weekend, possible holiday call)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume cardiac catheterization environment
- Open to first-time cath lab techs with appropriate certifications and experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CCI credentials with RCIS or RCES (preferred but not mandatory)
- ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) acceptable
- Familiarity with Epic or other electronic charting systems

Additional Notes
- Housing a hybrid OR and 5 cath lab rooms, with a focus on advanced cardiovascular procedures
- Open to local candidates within a 60-mile radius; flexible arrangements with case-by-case considerations at a lower rate
- During hurricane season (June – November), emergency response participation may be required
- Guaranteed hours with potential for scheduled time off, and travel considerations for relief staff
