Key Responsibilities
• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients with cancer and other diseases, ensuring precise treatment delivery.
• Educate patients about their treatment plans, potential side effects, and safety protocols.
• Monitor patients during and after treatments for reactions and side effects, adjusting care as needed.
• Collaborate with medical teams to develop and review treatment plans using advanced imaging and treatment planning systems.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a dosimetrist preferred; consideration given to candidates with less experience.
• Experience with Linear Accelerators, specifically Varian True Beam.
• Proficiency in CT simulation, including Biograph mCT or similar systems.
• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Ohio Department of Health (ODH) licensure.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience working with advanced imaging and treatment planning tools.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and patient care.
