Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Contract / Travel RN, 13-week assignment, night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment.
- Assess patient conditions, deliver treatments, and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Participate in life-saving procedures such as intubations and conscious sedation.
- Document patient care accurately within Meditech system.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety guidelines, including float policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted).
- Minimum of 2 years of ER experience.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, NIHSS, TNCC.
- Ability to float as needed within hospital policy.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Comfortable working in a high-acuity ER setting.
- Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record system.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
