Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to labor and delivery patients in a busy hospital setting.
- Precept and mentor new staff members, supporting a collaborative team environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends and possibly float between labor and mother-baby units as needed.
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records.
- Maintain compliance with all hospital protocols and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California registered nurse license.
- Current CPR, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of labor and delivery experience.
- Strong caregiving skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Willingness to work weekends and flexible shifts.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Precepting or mentoring experience in labor and delivery.
- Additional certifications such as AWHONN Advanced preferred.
- Experience working in a similar acute care hospital setting.
