- Full-time, Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Perform circulating and scrub duties during deliveries for Level III or IV maternity cases.
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms; recognize abnormal patterns.
- Administer medications and treatments following protocols, ensuring patient safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver exceptional maternal and newborn care.
- Comply with all hospital policies, including working at least every other holiday.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Labor and Delivery (recent or travel experience acceptable).
- Two years of recent Labor and Delivery Level III or IV experience including scrub and circulating roles.
- Valid Ohio license or Compact State license.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with travel nursing in Labor and Delivery units.
- Proficiency in obstetric emergency procedures.
- Strong assessment and patient communication skills.
