Key Responsibilities

• Provide adult and pediatric respiratory care in critical care settings, including ED, ICU, and Peds units.
• Manage airway management, medication administration, ventilator management, ABGs, oxygen therapy, suctioning, and pulmonary toileting.
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment such as BIPAP, CPAP, nebulizers, and bronchoscopes.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with all procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with medical teams to deliver optimal respiratory care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid NC state license.
• Minimum of 1 year of adult and pediatric respiratory care experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Experience in critical care environments such as ED, ICU, or Peds units.
• Ability to perform airway management, medication administration, and ventilator management.
• Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts, including every third weekend and holidays.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with PICU and Servo I ventilators preferred.
• Knowledge of pediatric respiratory procedures.
• Experience with bronchoscopy, nebulizers, and pulmonary toileting.
