Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, days shifts with call required. Shift hours vary depending on schedule needs, including 8-hour and 12-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide scrub support for cardiovascular and vascular surgeries, including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, and valve replacements.
• Assist during high-acuity procedures in a Level I Trauma facility.
• Ensure aseptic techniques are maintained throughout all procedures.
• Reprocess cardiovascular and thoracic instruments following industry standards.
• Document all procedures and equipment usage accurately in the charting system.
• Support the surgical team as a circulating and scrub technician, including crash cart management.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with scrub experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years of total CST experience.
• At least 2+ years operating in cardiac and vascular surgeries.
• 1+ year in a CVOR setting.
• 1+ year of experience in a Level I Trauma hospital.
• Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing.
• BLS certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency with EPIC charting system.
• Experience with thoracic and vascular surgical procedures.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular devices and equipment documentation practices.
