Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Atlanta, GA

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg patients in a dedicated education unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality patient care.
• Assist in implementing care plans and providing patient education.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
• Manage a patient load of 5-6 patients per nurse on a 30-bed unit.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Georgia Registered Nurse license.
• At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience.
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center or mid-large hospital setting.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Positive attitude with a focus on timeliness and professionalism.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience in a dedicated education unit.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
