Key Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative nursing care in the Pre-Surgery Clinic setting.
• Assess patients’ health status and prepare them for surgery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and ensure all preoperative protocols are followed.
• Document patient information accurately and comprehensively.
• Assist with patient education and answering preoperative questions.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards during all patient interactions.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a perioperative or preoperative setting.
• Active BLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Ability to work day shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a Pre-Op or surgical outpatient clinic.
• Knowledge of hospital safety protocols and patient care procedures.
• Strong communication and patient assessment skills.

Additional Notes

• Candidates must be willing to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve).
• This position is located at a facility in Atlanta, Georgia, within 50 miles of the local area.
