Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' health status and gather comprehensive data pertinent to surgical cases.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients undergoing procedures.
- Assist with and provide perioperative patient care, including circulating and scrub duties.
- Monitor patient responses during surgery and adjust care as necessary to ensure safety.
- Educate patients and families before and after procedures, ensuring understanding of care and recovery.
- Collaborate with surgical team members to promote a safe and efficient operating room environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing, Associate's degree, or Nursing Diploma.
- Montana licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- At least 18 months of recent RN experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR).
- Circulating experience in an operating room setting.
- Scrub experience in surgical procedures.
