Key Responsibilities
• Perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound exams, including echocardiograms, following clinical protocols.
• Ensure accurate documentation and interpretation of ultrasound findings.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Adhere to scheduling and departmental policies, including on-call duties.
• Collaborate with the medical team to support diagnostic needs.
• Complete patient records and reports in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
• High School Graduate.
• Minimum of 4 years of cardiac ultrasound clinical experience as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer.
• Performed at least 4,000 echocardiograms.
• Valid certification: RCS-CCI or RDCS-ARDMS.
• BLS certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Graduate of an accredited program in cardiac ultrasound/echocardiography or related health science field (e.g., cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, nursing).
• Training or certification in IV and UEA contrast administration.
