Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient oncology nursing care to patients, including administering treatments and managing side effects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, side effect management, and post-treatment care.
- Document patient interactions and treatment details accurately using electronic health records.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, including radiation safety procedures.
- Float between clinics as needed within scope to support facility staffing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina or multi-state compact license.
- 2-3 years of nursing experience, with prior outpatient or oncology experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
- Radiation badge (must be provided by the agency).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
- Oncology nursing experience and chemo certification or similar credentials.
- Radiation safety knowledge or certification.
