Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week contract, days shift (Monday to Friday), 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting
- Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient mobility and function
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records according to facility protocols
- Assist in enforcing safety and infection control procedures during therapy sessions
Required Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Physical Therapist license
- At least 1 year of recent PT experience in a rehab or GERI setting
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient care protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with elderly or GERI populations
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication and patient rapport-building skills
