Full-time, Days shift, rotating weekly and weekend call
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room for surgical patients across various specialties including Orthopedics, General Surgery, ENT, Urology, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, and OBGYN
- Assist with sterile procedures, patient positioning, and intraoperative monitoring
- Collaborate with surgical team members, including scrub and circulating staff, to ensure efficient and safe procedures
- Perform and document patient assessments, anesthesia support, and post-operative care as needed
- Respond to emergency situations, including trauma and critical care support
- Participate in bi-weekly orientations and ensure all documentation, including employment gaps, are complete
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of clinical RN experience in a surgical or perioperative setting
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with C-sections
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (non-negotiable)
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Scrub experience highly preferred; strong circulating skills considered acceptable
- Experience with invasive monitoring and ventilator support
- Reliable transportation, personal or rental vehicle, equipped for winter conditions (all-season or snow tires)
