Key Responsibilities
• Provide individual, family, and group counseling to clients with various mental health concerns.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure integrated, client-centered care.
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Offer crisis intervention and case management services as needed.
• Maintain thorough clinical documentation and adhere to regulatory standards.
• Work effectively with diverse populations, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and professionalism.
Required Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related human service field.
• Completion of an accredited Master’s program.
• Valid license or registration such as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LBHP; actively working toward or able to obtain Alaska licensure within six months.
• Minimum of one year of direct clinical care experience, including assessments, treatment planning, and counseling.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and office equipment use.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in outpatient or community mental health settings.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered approaches.
• Ability to build rapport quickly and work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
