Key Responsibilities
- Provide pediatric intensive care to patients aged 0-18 with various medical and surgical diagnoses.
- Monitor and support patients requiring ventilatory, cardiac, ECMO, CRRT, dialysis, and other complex therapies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to facility protocols and documentation requirements using EPIC charting system.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide urgent care as needed.
- Float within scope across ICU and Stepdown units to meet facility needs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years PICU experience.
- Valid RN license in South Carolina or multi-state/compact license.
- BLS and PALS certifications (American Heart Association preferred).
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including holidays.
- Willingness to work assigned weekends and participate in on-call rotations if required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with ECMO and CRRT therapies.
- Previous experience in a Level I Trauma Center or teaching hospital setting.
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system.
