Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Oncology

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, travel assignment, days shift (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in an outpatient radiation therapy setting.
• Assist with treatment procedures involving external beam radiation, brachytherapy, radiopharmaceutical infusions, and clinical trials.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and coordination.
• Monitor patient vitals and responses during treatments, adhering to strict safety protocols.
• Document patient care accurately and update electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and post-treatment care.

Required Qualifications
• Valid registered nursing license in the state of Tennessee.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably with oncology or radiation therapy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with radiation oncology equipment such as linear accelerators or CT simulators.
• Knowledge of specialized oncology service lines including brachytherapy and radiopharmaceuticals.
• Prior experience in outpatient clinic settings.
