Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab and EP lab environment.
• Assist with a variety of cardiac and vascular procedures, including heart catheterizations, PCI, TAVR, Watchman, MitralClip, and other complex interventions.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for cath lab procedures.
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists and healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Monitor patient status during and after procedures, providing post-procedure care as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina or multi-state/compact RN license at start of contract.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cath lab or interventional cardiology setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Radiation badge must be provided by agency.
• Scrub experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with a variety of cardiac procedures such as Right and Left Heart Catheters, PCI, CTO, PFO/ASD closures, MitralClip, Watchman, TAVR, and peripheral vascular interventions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with complex cases.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
