Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, contract, 3x12-hour shifts (rotating days and nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit within a hospital setting.
• Monitor and recognize arrhythmias using ECG rhythm recognition.
• Administer medications safely and accurately per physician orders.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Complete assessments, document patient progress, and updated care plans.
• Participate in orientation including ECG and medication safety assessments.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio license or active license from a compact state.
• At least 18 months of recent Medical/Surgical Tele experience (perm or travel).
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to work at least every other holiday.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Travel experience in a hospital setting.
• Flexibility with shift rotations.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
