Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the operating room, circulating and scrubbing for various surgical procedures
- Adapt to a rotating D/E schedule, including weekends and call shifts, with flexibility required
- Work during holidays on a scheduled basis, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day
- Maintain proficiency in EPIC electronic medical record system, with recent experience required
- Support a variety of surgeries including trauma level 1, ortho, URO, oncology, general, ENT, plastics, neuro, CVT, and da Vinci Robotics
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards throughout all procedures
Required Qualifications
- Prior travel RN experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience
- Experience in large trauma level 1 hospital setting
- Recent EPIC EMR experience (within past 2 years)
- Ability to circulate and scrub in surgical procedures, with skills checklist documentation
- Strong proficiency in general OR procedures, including orthopedics, urology, oncology, neuro, and robotics
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Da Vinci Robotics
- Knowledge of trauma, ENT, plastics, and vascular procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
