Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for patients in an intermediate care, PCU, or stepdown unit
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and telemetry
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
- Float to different units within the organization as required to cover staffing needs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units
- Valid registered nurse license
- BCLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong skills in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and patient assessment
- EPIC EMR experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in cardiac or lower acuity units
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to float across units as needed
