Registered Nurse - CVOR
Location: Charleston, SC
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, days shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized cardiovascular operating room nursing care, including scrubbing and circulating complex cardiac cases such as CABG, TAVR, LVAD, Impella, Valve repairs, and transplants.
• Assist in vascular, general, and thoracic surgeries ensuring patient safety and adherence to surgical protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure procedures run smoothly in a high-volume Level I Trauma Center.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EPIC electronic charting system.
• Comply with all safety, licensing, and certification requirements, including radiation badge and on-call duties.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina or multi-state RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVOR or similar operating room settings.
• Ability to scrub and circulate complex cardiac and vascular cases.
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Radiation badge (to be provided by the agency).

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with transplant surgeries such as heart and lung transplants.
• Prior on-call experience in a surgical setting.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
