Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the operating room by preparing surgical instruments and maintaining sterile fields
• Support surgical team members during procedures across various specialties including trauma, ortho, robotics, ENT, plastics, neuro, and general surgery
• Collaborate with staff to ensure adherence to protocols and patient safety standards
• Work flexible hours including weekends, call shifts, and holidays as required
• Maintain accurate documentation of work history and certifications

Required Qualifications

• Current AHA BLS certification and NBSTSA certification required; CNOR preferred
• Minimum of 2 years recent OR experience, including trauma level 1 settings within the last year
• Solid knowledge of surgical procedures such as ortho, robotics, neuro, ENT, plastics, and general surgery
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends, call, and holidays
• Reliable transportation; public transit is not accessible in the area

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in large trauma level 1 facilities within the past year
• Ability to work independently with a solid understanding of surgical procedures and patient care
• Flexibility to work 2 out of 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day
