Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a Level IV NICU setting for premature and critically ill neonates.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including coverage of weekends and holidays as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and goal-directed patient care.
• Manage neonatal cases with acuity-dependent staffing ratios, supporting patients with conditions such as prematurity, respiratory distress, and surgical needs.
• Document care using EPIC electronic health records and ensure accurate charting.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including safety protocols for emergency response during hurricane season.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience, preferably in a Level IV facility; Level III experience considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Current BLS and NRPL certifications.
• South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact license.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ECMO/CRRT and neonatal surgical support.
• Ability to manage acuity-dependent patient ratios ranging from 1:2 to 1:4.
• Flexibility to float within scope and adapt to rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
