Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room for adult patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Assist surgical teams during neuro and vascular surgeries, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in clinical condition promptly.
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment for procedures, adhering to sterilization standards.
- Document patient care and surgical details accurately in compliance with hospital policies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient surgeries.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of OR nursing experience, including Level 1 Facility and Travel experience.
- Valid state nursing license (pending licenses accepted).
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Experience with neuro and vascular surgeries strongly preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment.
- Ability to adapt to a block schedule, if needed.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
