Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the CVOR department as part of a team consisting of one RN and two CSTs, supporting surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide first scrub support for cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring sterile techniques and proper instrument handling.
• Float to the OR as needed, supporting other units based on census and competency levels.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities after shifts, including weekend coverage as scheduled.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth surgical operations and patient safety.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential through NBSTSA.
• Previous scrub experience in cardiovascular operating room (preferred).
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and adapt to float assignments.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First scrub experience in CVOR setting.
• Experience working in a team-based surgical environment with TRAVEL PAIRS or TRAVEL TRIOS welcomed.
