Key Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures within the main OR, ensuring a clean and sterile environment
• Prepare surgical instruments and supplies according to procedure requirements
• Maintain proper documentation and charting of surgical activities using the designated system
• Support nursing staff and surgeons during operations as needed
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of acute care surgical technician experience
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Full availability to work scheduled days, with flexibility for on-call duties
• Must have current, active surgical technician certification (pending license not accepted)
• Ability to accommodate a block schedule at the discretion of the manager

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large acute care hospital setting
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar charting systems
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling
