Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
- Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels as needed
- Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and documentation
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during all shifts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 3 years of Medical Surgical experience
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
- Ability to float creatively and professionally between units
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Experience with telephonic communication in a clinical setting
