Day shifts, full-time, rotating schedule including some weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an Intermediate Medical Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Stepdown unit setting
• Float within units of equal or lower acuity levels as needed
• Maintain an estimated patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:3 to 4, ensuring quality patient care
• Adhere to rotation schedule, including weekdays, some weekends, and holidays
• Manage intravenous starts, telephonic communication, and other clinical duties efficiently

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in PCU or similar acute care units
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Strong ability to adapt to unit float requirements and work independently
