Key Responsibilities
- Communicate timely with physicians, residents' families, and team members regarding significant changes in resident condition
- Complete all applicable resident assessments accurately and promptly
- Administer medications following the 5 Rights of medication safety
- Perform wound care and assessments as needed
- Assist CNAs with answering call lights and monitor residents for changes in condition
- Lead on the floor by assessing situations and providing direction as necessary
- Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administration
- Maintain thorough and accurate resident records through proper charting
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in nursing (RN) required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Valid and current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience considered
- 1+ years of related nursing experience preferred
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Scrub color requirement: Navy Blue
