Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct, individualized nursing care to medical/surgical patients in accordance with scientific nursing principles.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer prescribed medications via oral, subcutaneous, IV routes, and record administration details.
- Educate patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and post-treatment care.
- Monitor patient vital signs, interpret electronic displays, and adjust equipment as needed.
- Respond promptly to life-threatening situations and participate in discharge planning.
- Document all patient care accurately and concisely, ensuring compliance with policies.
- Assist medical staff during examinations and treatments, including dressing changes, catheter insertions, and IV starts.
Required Qualifications
- Active Wyoming RN license or multi-state RN license.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a hospital or community healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Strong bedside care skills and ability to respond effectively to emergencies.
