Key Responsibilities
- Provide licensed practical nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
- Float between units as needed, including working with dementia patients.
- Follow all facility protocols and maintain compliance with state and facility regulations.
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and care plans accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality resident care.
- Work every other weekend as part of the schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LVN/LPN license.
- Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience.
- BLS certification through AHA.
- Previous LTC or SNF experience.
- Prior travel experience preferred.
- Ability to float to other units and adapt to different care settings.
- Must have reliable transportation and be prepared to work with dementia populations.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a facility with a high volume of dementia patients.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and assignments.
