- Full-time, Night shift, 13-week travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate patient care activities in accordance with unit policies, patient needs, and developmental stages.
- Collaborate with physicians, staff, and families to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate clinical proficiency and adherence to safety protocols, including infection control and emergency response procedures.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Respond effectively to urgent situations and patient crises, maintaining professional composure.
Required Qualifications
- Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact state license.
- BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- NRP certification is required.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of recent labor and delivery nursing experience.
- Strong knowledge of maternity care standards and neonatal protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
