Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the emergency room for an assigned patient population, ensuring safety and quality standards are met
- Coordinate and implement clinical procedures in a fast-paced, hospital environment
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and medical staff
- Demonstrate clinical competence and adherence to organizational policies and protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation and keep certifications up to date
- Respond effectively to emergency and crisis situations
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
- Current RN license in New Mexico or a valid Compact state license
- BLS certification from AHA (or obtained within 2 weeks of hire)
- ACLS and PALS certifications from AHA (or obtained within 6 months of hire)
- Knowledge of patient rights and age-appropriate care
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of emergency room nursing experience
- Experience working in a high-pressure, acute care setting
- Strong communication and clinical skills suitable for diverse patient populations
