• Full-time, Night shifts (Rotating weekends)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and document patient assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate respiratory function and response to therapy.
• Administer respiratory care therapies such as oxygen delivery, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
• Assist with the placement of artificial airways and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor patient response to therapies, intervene as needed, and notify providers of any issues.
• Respond to emergent situations, ensuring airway integrity and adequate ventilation during resuscitation.

Required Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Valid Respiratory Therapist license or registration as applicable by state.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in acute care hospital settings.
• Ability to perform invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation management.
• Strong assessment and patient monitoring skills.
