Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week contract, Day shifts, on-site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide telemetered nursing care in a short-stay/pre- and post-operative unit.
• Monitor and record vital signs, administer blood transfusions, and assist with Phase II recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the Meditech EMR system.
• Float to other units as needed, adhering to unit policies and safety standards.
• Support patient care activities during both day and night shifts, with a patient ratio of approximately 1:3.

Required Qualifications

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Valid RN license applicable in Texas.
• Experience in Pre-Post Op surgical, cath lab, or IR patient care.
• Proven ability to handle blood transfusions and Phase II recovery procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working as a Charge RN.
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR system.
• Ability to manage multiple patient procedures and prioritize care efficiently.
