Key Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering quality healthcare by exercising sound nursing judgment in accordance with established standards and policies.
- Participate actively as a member of the healthcare team to engage patients, families, and caregivers in coordinating patient care.
- Perform examinations, diagnostic, and treatment procedures following clinical protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and utilize medical equipment for examinations.
- Educate patients regarding their health, treatment plans, and medication effects.
- Follow safety protocols and assist in identifying and addressing safety hazards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Pennsylvania Practical Nurse License.
- Meets the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews every two years.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- One year of nursing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines.
- Familiarity with physician office procedures and medical terminology.
- Ability to communicate clearly and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively during emergency situations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and make quick, confident decisions.
