Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to patients
• Monitor patient mental health status and administer medications as prescribed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient conditions and progress accurately in medical records
• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
• Cover every other weekend to ensure continuous patient support
Required Qualifications
• valid state Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work 3x12 hour shifts per week (36 hours)
• Willingness to float within units of similar or lower acuity levels
• Openness to first-time travelers
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in acute psychiatric settings or inpatient facilities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
