Key Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering quality healthcare by providing skilled nursing care in an outpatient setting.
- Follow established healthcare procedures, standards, and policies to ensure patient safety and care quality.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient treatments and engage patients and families.
- Administer medications, treatments, and utilize exam and treatment equipment effectively.
- Participate actively in emergency situations, maintaining calm and providing effective responses.
- Communicate clearly with patients and team members, following written and verbal instructions from healthcare providers.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Pennsylvania Practical Nurse License.
- Meets American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider BLS and renews every two years.
- One year of nursing experience preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines.
- Familiarity with physician office procedures and medical terminology.
- Ability to react calmly in emergency situations and analyze problems quickly.
- Basic knowledge of medication administration and medical equipment use.
