Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, long-term travel assignment
• Night shift (7 PM – 7 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care to patients of all age groups in the emergency department.
• Coordinate and implement patient care in accordance with unit standards and protocols.
• Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and respond to emergency situations effectively.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and clinical observations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control policies to ensure a safe environment.

Required Qualifications

• Current New Mexico RN license or a valid compact state license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• PALS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• At least 1 year of recent ER nursing experience.
• Ability to handle emergency/crisis situations and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
