Key Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications to residents following all safety and regulatory protocols.
- monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff.
- Assist with medication documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Provide compassionate care and support to residents during medication administration.
- Follow all state and federal guidelines related to medication management and patient safety.
Required Qualifications
- Valid State Certified Medication Technician license or certification.
- Ability to accurately administer medications and document appropriately.
- Strong attention to detail and compliance with safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a long-term care or assisted living facility.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and documentation systems.
