Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, contract, 3x12-hour shifts, rotating shifts (day/night)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to adult patients in a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry setting
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, respond to patient needs, and document clinical observations
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and compliance
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety procedures, and clinical protocols
- Work at least every other holiday as part of scheduled rotations
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing
- 18 months of prior permanent experience in the specialty applying for
- Valid Ohio RN license or Compact State license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (day/night)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a large hospital setting
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
