Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess the needs of referred patients/clients to develop comprehensive physical therapy treatment plans.
• Provide physical therapy services across the lifespan in various settings including acute/inpatient care, outpatient, and long-term care.
• Perform therapy modalities, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises as outlined in plans of care.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate patient recovery.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants, aides, and support staff as required.
• Complete all necessary documentation of therapy activities and patient progress.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Alaska Physical Therapy License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of clinical practice experience as a licensed physical therapist.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working within federal and state healthcare programs.
• Knowledge of assistive technology and regulatory standards for physical therapy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient care.
• Ability to effectively manage time and organize clinical workflows.
