Key Responsibilities
- Operate specialized interventional radiology equipment to deliver high-quality images for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Assist with advanced procedures such as embolizations, stroke interventions, stent placements, biopsies, drains, and other specialty interventional procedures.
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation protection and quality control protocols.
- Maintain proficiency with equipment including Siemens Biplane, Philips Biplane, and GE single plane systems, as well as electronic medical records (EPIC).
- Follow all hospital policies for badge-in/out procedures and department-specific protocols.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT registered radiologic technologist license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in interventional radiology, with neuro interventional background preferred.
- Ability to work independently, with on-call night and weekend shifts.
- Experience operating interventional equipment and understanding of diagnostic imaging principles.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in an IR or specialized procedures department.
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR and medication dispensing systems.
- Knowledge of complex interventional procedures such as aneurysm repair, Y-90 treatments, and vascular stenting.
