Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Aberdeen, WA
Schedule / Job Type: 13-week contract, 12-hour shifts (1400-0230), 36 hours per week, with options to pick up additional shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER setting
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and escalate concerns promptly
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and other necessary systems
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards

Required Qualifications:

• Current Washington State RN license or validated multi-state license with proper verification
• Approved 6-hour suicide prevention training
• Verification of demographics from Nursys
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Knowledge of emergency nursing procedures and protocols
• Ability to work as part of a team in a high-pressure environment

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Past experience working in an Emergency Department setting
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar electronic health record systems
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
