Full-time, 13-week travel assignment (Night shift)
- Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology patients during night shifts, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and treatment adherence.
- Administer medications, monitor patient vitals, and observe for adverse reactions or changes in condition.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient interactions and treatment details accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Follow unit-specific policies, protocols, and dress code requirements, including scrub color.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in oncology or related specialties.
- Ability to perform procedures typical for oncology units.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience working with chemotherapy, radiation, or other oncology treatments.
- Knowledge of EMR systems used in hospital settings.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts and handle emergency situations calmly.
