Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside dialysis care to patients in a busy Level I Trauma Center and teaching hospital
• Monitor and assess patient condition during dialysis treatments, ensuring safety and compliance with protocols
• Administer medications and perform necessary treatments as prescribed
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies during dialysis sessions

Required Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina or Compact license in hand prior to start
• Minimum of 1 year of acute dialysis experience
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Experience with Fresenius 2008T machines and Mobile Reverse Osmosis equipment preferred
• Willingness to work 3x12 days shifts (10:00 AM - 10:30 PM) and every other weekend
• On-call availability overnight (Sun-Sat)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a Level I Trauma Center or Magnet hospital setting
• Familiarity with charting in Epic electronic health record system
• Open to flexible scheduling requests (approval may be requested pre-assignment)
