Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to labor and delivery patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Monitor fetal and maternal status using clinical assessments and EFM.
- Administer medications and interventions as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe delivery and postpartum care.
- Manage IV starts and support patients throughout labor and delivery process.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
- Valid NCC C-EFM certification (acceptable in lieu of AWHONN Advanced Certification).
- Proficiency in IV insertion and L&D patient care.
- Epic electronic health record experience.
- Ability to float as needed.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience.
- Strong assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
