Key Responsibilities
- Assess and medicate patients in the telemetry unit.
- Provide recovery support for cath lab and thoracic patients.
- Utilize equipment such as EPIC for charting and Med Pyxis for medication dispensing.
- Follow unit protocols and procedures, ensuring patient safety and compliance.
- Document patient data accurately in computerized systems.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including telemetry training.
- Valid IL nursing license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with inpatient units such as ICU, step-down, Med-Surg, or Telemetry.
- Ability to float to related units as needed, with full patient assignments based on acuity.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and medication systems.
