Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shifts, 3-12 hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry unit.
- Monitor patient status, interpret telemetry data, and respond to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and medical protocols.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ohio license or a compact state license.
- Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Prior experience working night shifts.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a hospital setting working with telemetry monitoring.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations.
